Product description
The Flat Ring of Logs is an ideal focal point of warmth in a garden seating area but also provides outstanding BBQ capabilities.
This is a showstopper of a fire pit with good looks and great functionality. The Flat Ring of Logs is set at a lovely height to sit round and comes with a large Swing Arm BBQ Rack for cooking for a crowd. If you pair it with a lid (available separately), it serves as a garden table when not in use and of course the storage area below means dry logs are to hand when you need them. Oh, and the shelf surface also makes an ideal warming area for food while you’re cooking. Now that’s what we call a multi-tasker!
All our fire pits, chimineas and pizza ovens are manufactured in the UK from British steel. The steel will oxidise as it settles into your garden, turning an autumnal russet colour, but this does not effect the longevity or durability.
Variations
The Ring of Logs 120cm has a 60cm fire bowl and comes with a BBQ rack which swings over your fire pit, so that you can access your fire and position the grill over the flames or embers depending on what you’re cooking. The BBQ rack is half bar, half plate, so you don’t loose your veg between the gaps but you can still get those all important grill lines on your steak.
The fire pit comes with a protective coating of oil which will burn off after first use. The fire pit and bbq rack are made from 3mm mild steel. They will oxidise over time and turn from graphite to an autumnal russet pantina. This does not affect their longevity or durability. All our fire pits are handmade from British sheet metal which has naturally occurring blemishes which can mean slight variations in the forging and finish.
Fire pit care: fire up your fire pit and grill to burn off the protective oil. You can remove the rust as it oxidises with a wire brush and then oiled, but the rust doesn’t affect use or durability. Avoid putting the BBQ rack over high flames as the steel will warp under high temperatures. To cook over your fire pit, you want the flames to die down and leave the cooking embers behind. Or use an ash rake to separate the embers from the flames and position your BBQ rack over the cooking embers.
