Commission a contemporary illustration of your boat based on a photo provided by you, hand-drawn by artists working in North Devon.
A perfect memento for every boat lover - whether it is a yacht, narrow boat, speed boat or anything that floats! The drawing style is clean and contemporary with the sky and surroundings picked out in a range of colours. You can provide your own photo after ordering, just upload them via the NotOnTheHighStreet.com by going to My Orders and submitting an enquiry or we can work to a weblink.
Every illustration can be further personalised with a printed message. Choose from 3 typefaces (script, handwritten or a modern sans-serif). Your text will be printed on 2 lines, the top line being a slightly larger size.
Variations
Please note we draw from your photo, with the boat in situ (for example if it is in dock with other boats we will sketch them and the dock), and we exclude people.
Your Illustration will be hand-drawn black & white sketch of the boat, not a computer generated image, so we can add/remove things you don’t want. We will sketch the view from the photograph (ie the same perspective), and don't include people. It’s a simplified drawing of the boat in black & white and we colour the sky duck-egg blue, sea darker blue etc. We cannot include people in the drawing.
Can I check what you’ve drawn? Yes - just select yes to a digital proof in the order from, and we’ll upload a proof via a customer enquiry for you to check and make any changes to. We offer up to 3 amends to your original drawing. For further changes there will be an additional charge.

Made from
Hand-drawn, coloured on computer and digitally printed to order on 200gsm acid free, fine grain artists paper. All prints supplied with a white, bevel-cut window mount.
Our frames are all handmade in the UK from solid wood with a 2cm wide profile- choose from 3 styles (see image thumbnail for colours). Supplied with integrated hanging hook and Pilkington glass (extra large frames are glazed with high grade UV perspex for glare reduction and safe shipping).
