About Us
Live the Life of Spice
Set in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, Life of Spice was founded by Trevor and Martina in 2014 with the aim of making great tasting food easy and simple to produce on a daily basis.
With success at the first attempt in the 2015 Great Taste Awards, the future's looking bright for our premium gourmet rubs and spices.
We strive to make our products as attractive as possible to the user, so use premium quality aluminium tins which will feel right at home on the kitchen counter - and make it so much easier to remember to use them. Say goodbye to the old phrase - Style over Substance - and welcome in our new mantra - Style with Substance.
We produce in small batches using the freshest dried herbs and spices we source from a small and reliable group of suppliers. In all honesty, 'maker' days are the ones we really look forward to - the smells coming from the production unit are fantastic.

What we make
Rubs (15 rubs)
One of the simplest ways to add a huge flavour hit to your foods. For great barbecues, simply rub the meat with a generous spoonful of rub. If grilling, you may want to add olive oil or mayonnaise to keep the meat moist.
Salts (5 salts)
One of life’s essentials – literally. However, salt should be used sparingly in your diet. By choosing to cook from scratch, as opposed to buying processed foods, you’re already taking the first steps to reduce your salt consumption. It is essential to pack as much flavours as possible into your food for the minimum salt content.
Herbs (5 herb blends)
The secret ingredient of all the top chef’s in the world. There are certain herb blends that just work together, and we’ve recreated these herb blends for you to use in the home.
Baking Spices (5 baking spices)
From classic Gingerbread to more exotic European favourites like Speculaas Spice, there has never been a better time to get into the kitchen and start baking.

UK Customers: We ship every day via a Royal Mail First Class Service. International Customers: We ship via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed. EU orders are mainly received within 5-7 business days, but things will vary. It's a big world!
