Original artwork for the nursery and children's rooms.
The story of Liza J design began after Norfolk born artist Liza Cole painted the 'giraffe on orange' canvas which became the very first collection titled 'Jungle Original'.
Late 2007 Liza J design was honoured to be invited to join notonthehighstreet.com. After a successful broad range of designs in the original art collection; magazine features in Vogue and Easy Living and recognition by Theo Paphitis and Jacqueline Gold, Liza J design introduced new product ranges of gorgeous and brightly coloured children’s prints and greeting cards.
All works designed by Liza Cole are original and hand painted (or reproduced as fine art prints and cards from original hand painted works of art) and lovingly produced in a studio within Suffolk in the UK.

Meet the artist Liza Cole
Liza has always had a passion for art, proudly achieving an A* in the subject.
Liza graduated from part of the University of East Anglia with a 2:1 BA (hons) Interior and Spatial Design with Business Management degree. Her love is mural design; bespoke artwork direct on interior walls to complement existing fabrics and decor. When it came to designing her own nursery Liza was able to create a unique large feature wall mural, this in turn gave inspiration to create 'portable' canvases designed for the nursery, playroom and child’s bedroom interior. The canvases are beautifully hand painted using emulsion, the medium derived from painting murals onto walls offering a soft matt finish that easily complements your decor.

We are still open for greeting card orders and send direct services. Dispatch days are four times a week and all orders are sent with FREE UK delivery. Please note Royal Mail are experiencing high volumes of mail and all products are sold with an 'estimated' delivery time only.
International orders have been temporarily suspended.

Fine art prints that are supplied mounted have an estimated dispatch of 2-5 days.
Original hand painted artwork has an estimated dispatch of up to 21 days and 28 days for bespoke from the date of confirmed order (confirmed refers to all personalised details given with completed payment).
All products are made to order.
Hand painted artwork - from the time of payment your canvas will take 10 stages to complete:

1 First background coat
2 Second background coat
3 Freehand sketch
4 White
5 First colour
6 Second colour
7 Detail/ touch up
8 Protective Final Layer
9 Photograph
10 Package/ Dispatch
You can request at anytime what stage your painting is at; but you will be given an estimated date of dispatch at the time of order.
DELIVERY
Once completed and ready for dispatch, every order is packaged carefully using bubble wrap with cardboard box packaging.
All UK orders are sent as standard with free delivery using Royal Mail, orders over £55 will need to be signed for.
You will be contacted with your tracking number if applicable at the time of dispatch.
If you require artwork by a specific date within the lead time please enquire prior to ordering as an optional upgrade delivery service can usually accomodate.

ARTWORK
Designs are subject to change by the artist at anytime. Should the artist feel that a certain colour/ detail is suited best to complete that work it is the artists' discretion to carry out this on the piece during the process without need for prior consultation of you the customer. All hand painted products are freehand sketched and hand painted so will naturally differ from the examples shown on the website in it's individual style and shading; letters with characters will be drawn into the position that the artist feels works best.
