London Art Classes

London Art Classes runs practical art classes in a converted propeller factory in Deptford, South East London. This great environment is perfect for developing your drawing and painting skills - it is a working artist's studio fully equipped with all the art materials you could ever need. If you're a beginner (nearly all of our students are), developing your art in a real studio makes a world of difference in making you more creative.

Professional artist Nick Malone has been running group classes and one-to-one tuition in his studio for the last ten years since completing his MA at Central St. Martins. Nick has exhibited at the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition, Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Bankside Gallery. All his classes are small with lots of personal attention and a great atmosphere. There is a lovely lunch for those staying for the day. There are three elements to all our classes: practical studio work, instruction in the basic techniques of drawing and painting, and short talks on contemporary art. Life classes are also available, and one-to-one tuition can be personally arranged and tailored.
