How to send your handwriting: once you have placed an order send Made By Daisy an 'order enquiry' message, attaching a clear image of the handwriting that you wish to have made in to a necklace. Images can be either scanned in or a good quality photograph.
Daisy hand makes these necklaces from solid sterling silver sheet using handwriting that people send to her, generally that of their mother's, grandmother's or lover's. Each name necklace, signature or message is carefully cut out using a jeweller’s saw, and finished by hand to a very high standard.
Variations
A person’s handwriting is like a little bit of them, perhaps you have an old birthday card, cheque, a diary belonging to someone who you have loved and lost. Such special writing can be made in to a meticulously hand crafted sterling silver wearable heirloom to treasure and carry with you always.
You can choose to have either a 14" chain (35cm) which is recommended for younger children, 16” chain (40cm), 18” chain (45cm), or a longer 20" chain (50cm). Pendants are also available with either a high polished finish or matt finish.
Your order will arrive in a Made By Daisy branded gift box, which can be gift wrapped. You can also include a message with your order if it is being sent direct to the recipient.
Parcel will require a signature upon reciept.

Dimensions
Pendent sizes vary according to word length, but are generally around 1.5cm high and 3cm to 4cm wide. The silver used is thicker than the average name necklace at 0.12cm thick (1.2mm), giving the pendent great strength and stability, and a good weight that is not too light or heavy to wear.
The chain used is curb style chain which is strong yet dainty and femanine, as can be seen in the photos.
Made from
Pendant is sterling silver. Chain and clasp are also sterling silver.
Clean with a soft cloth and store all sterling silver items in an airtight box when not wearing to prevent tarnish.
It is recommended not to sleep in this necklace to prevent damage.
