The perfect all year round gift for the bird lover and gardener. Supplied with its own stainless steel hanging wire with clips, the feeder can be hung anywhere, the branch of a tree, as part of an already busy feeding station, or hanging quietly on a secluded balcony. The bottom half of the feeder acts as a seed trough, and the slightly oversize top as a shelter, to keep the seed dry and allow small birds like Tit's & Robins to actually get inside the feeder to feed.
Variations
The feeder’s perfectly smooth round body suspended by the supplied 45cm thin wire makes it virtually impossible for squirrels to access the seed, it's actually satisfyingly funny to watch the squirrels puzzled faces as they try to get to the seed.The Oak feeders are available in four sizes: small, medium, large & extra large and look great hanging together as a set.GIFT BOX OPTION: If required, the feeders (we have no gift boxes available for the extra large at the moment) can be wrapped carefully in soft tissue paper and packed away into our made to one of our measure gift boxes.

Being completely hand made of natural materials, all sizes are approximate + - 1 cm (1/2 inch)
(Please note that The Natural Wood Company birdfeeders were designed and refined over a several years before they were marketed. All four sizes are designed to not only be a beautiful addition to your garden, but to work well as bird feeders, and they all do. All birds can feed from the side of all three sizes but small birds i.e. Blue tits, sparrows & finches etc. will actually get inside the medium and large & extra large feeders, the small feeder is designed to allow the birds to feed from the side.
Made from
It’s turned from a single block of locally sourced English Oak and finished using our secret recipe lacquer and then burnished to a smooth silky finish, so it can stay out in all weathers all year round.
All the timber we use is the very best locally sourced we can find and is always obtained sustainably, for example, some pieces are crafted from fallen or storm damaged trees on local private estates. It’s then air-and or kiln-dried for at least 12 months before being used to make a beautifully functional product. We also try to make sure all our packaging is made from natural, sustainable materials, using recycled card and paper whenever possible. Always working hard to maintain and improve The Natural Wood Company’s reputation for designing and making beautiful products for the home and garden.

Gift box option - If giving as a present, is what this option was designed for. The feeder will be wrapped carefully in soft tissue paper before being packed away into our made to measure gift box. We can also add a personal note to a tag attached to the feeder inside the box if required. The gift box is then put into a made to measure postal box, so on delivery all you have to do is remove the outer postal box and your gift is ready.
Returns
You have 28 days, from receipt of cancellable goods, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: goods that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements, perishable products and personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken are non-refundable, unless faulty.
