The Ficus Ginseng, also known as Ficus microcarpa, is a popular bonsai tree loved for its intricate root system. Native to Southeast Asia, it thrives as an indoor plant. With twisted and contorted aerial roots, it resembles a bonsai. Its small, glossy, dark green leaves create a lush canopy. Care involves providing bright, indirect light near a window, avoiding direct sunlight. Water when the top inch of soil is dry, ensuring proper drainage. Maintain warm temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C) and higher humidity levels. Regular pruning and shaping, along with balanced fertilizing and repotting every 2-3 years, will keep it thriving for years to come.
