Push The Apple Cart

Our company ‘Push The Apple Cart’ is a creative workshop based in Lancashire. Our aim is to design and make functional products with a hint of humour. Our functional, yet playful pieces are produced, designed, finished and packaged in our own studio workshop.

Designer, Philip Havlin, has a background in product and furniture design. Graduating with honours from Goldsmiths University of London and having worked for a number of prestigious design companies in London, he moved back to the North of England to concentrate on having a family and working on his own designs with his partner Jane.

After struggling to find something different to adorn the walls (of our new arrivals) we embarked on designing and making our own range of products. Encouraged by the support of friends and followers of our products we became, ‘Push The Apple Cart’

Utilizing our years of industry experience with a combination of traditional design techniques, we added a smattering of Laser cutters and an appetite to make ‘everyday products’ not so ‘everyday.’ Nevertheless our designs are to appreciate, enjoy and understand (with a story and a process)
