Each Tin contains 20 seed balls, enough to cover 1 square metre in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.

Bee Mix: A mix of native wildflowers that bees will just love! This carefully selected mix is designed specifically to attract solitary bees, honey bees and bumblebees.
Butterfly Mix: A mix of native wildflowers that are perfect for butterflies! This lovely collection of mostly purple, pink and blue flowers is designed to attract butterflies to our gardens, balconies and window boxes.
Urban Meadow Mix: A mix of native wildflowers that are perfect for pollinators. Urban Meadow is a colourful combination of hardy annuals and perennials that will do well in most gardens, including those in more polluted areas (and ideal for road verges).
Shade Mix: A mix of native wildflowers that are ideal for shadier areas. While these will struggle in total shade (as would all flowers!), this mix is designed for spots which receive only dappled sun or sun for just one part of the day.
Sky Meadow Mix: An all-blue-flowering native wildflower mix designed to attract bees to your balconies and garden beds.
Poppy: A tin bursting with common poppy seeds. A bright red flowering annual – this hugely popular native wildflower is fantastic for pollinators and garden birds and a stunning addition to any wildflower garden. Poppies are also a big favourite of ours for window boxes or for other small growing spaces.

Made from
We make the balls ourselves from a mixture of UK wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The outer clay protects the seeds from ants, birds and mice, and once sufficient water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside begin to germinate - helped along by the nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder continues to deter slugs and snails while the seed ball slowly degrades and the seeds sprout. Wildflowers are naturally slow to grow and the balls can take 2-4 weeks to begin to sprout. Some will flower in the first year and others may not flower until the second year, but the display should keep getting better each year :) The more they are initially watered the quicker they will be to start to grow, although they will be ok to leave them to the rain to water them as well :)
Tins are made by the last tin can maker of London with a help of a solar farm on the factory roof.
