Here at Swag and Tassel, we design and hand craft one of a kind luxury handbags and accessories full of character and style.
Welsh designer Sophie Wordsworth began her journey making carpet bags. Using the rich history of the materials, ranging from carpets hand-woven by tribes in Northern Persia Sophie’s initial collections were an exciting juxtaposition of old and new.
With a passion for textiles and an increasing love for leather, Swag and Tassel has evolved into the carefully curated collections that stand today. Currently, we have three main collections: The Original Rug; The Veg Tan Leather and The Flick. Whilst each range offers its own distinct and individual style, they are unified by the Swag and Tassel signature of clean lines, craftsmanship and wonderfully rich materials.
From personalised and thoughtful gifts such as keyrings and bookmarks to one of a kind hand stitched purses, Swag and Tassel strives to design and create stylish pieces full of character and style.
How its made
At the heart of our design ethic is craftsmanship and quality materials. The leather used is lovingly sourced and even more lovingly handled and the historically rich rugs have become a welcome obsession. So, with that in mind, we strive to make bags with an heirloom quality and accessories with a practical and lasting nature.
All of our products are designed, pattern cut and constructed in our small studio in Wales. Nothing is out sourced or made in a hurry, meaning that quality is never compromised. Hand stitching techniques are used for strength and durability, creating pieces that are built to last.

Delivery
Your Swag And Tassel handbag will arrive in its very own dust bag, carefully packaged in a Swag And Tassel box.
Smaller leather items will be wrapped in tissue.
Free UK delivery - larger items will be sent using Royal mail special delivery service and will need to be signed for.
Europe delivery and rest of the world -will be sent through Royal Mail and will need to be internationally signed for, Please note that there is no delivery service on Saturday and Sunday.
When you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the goods are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws. Please be advised that we reserve the right to deduct, from any refund due to the customer, the costs incurred by us for the return shipment of goods refused by the customer at Customs in the destination country.

Once you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective)We recommend that you obtain a certificate of posting when you send your parcel back as we will not be responsible for loss or damage during transit.The item must be returned unused and in its original packaging to:
