Natural artisan soap handmade on Dartmoor using locally sourced but sustainably harvested ingredients.

The Dartmoor Soap Company was founded after the birth of our little boy.

Inspired by his delicate skin we searched the market for a natural cleanser which was not only suitable for babies but would also nourish the epidermis and prevent the onset of unwanted skin conditions. With little success we decided to put our soap making skills as enthusiastic hobbyists to the test and create our own gentle baby soap with 100% natural ingredients. The results were immediate. Within a few days our little one's eczema had cleared, his skin was plump with moisture and, what's more, bath times became a joy!

We then decided to develop a range of natural soaps & body products which would not only appeal to all ages but also support our home environment on Dartmoor.

Our products contain no SLS, parabens or palm oil. Our goat's milk is collected fresh from a local small-holding, we use pure spring water from Dartmoor and our Dartmoor Ale soap is made with Jail Ale from Dartmoor Brewery.
