Beautiful grain patterns combined with a uniquely shaped piece of glass.
It's true that no two yew tables are the same. Unlike many other woods, yew is not grown specifically for use in furniture making, but rather sourced from individually felled trees. This serves to further enhance the already wild grain patterns common in yew.
Therefore it is essential we hand select the planks to ensure they will compliment each other. The natural ‘waney’ edges of the planks are exposed, with a subtly tinted piece of glass running through the top, which is shaped to match the contours of the wood.
