Carrot 'Chantenay' Six X Plug Plant Pack

Carrot 'Chantenay' is a maincrop variety producing high yields of tasty, short, broad carrots with a small core and intense orange colour.

With their sweet and crispy flavour, Carrot 'Chantenay' is perfect for adding to salads and soups, creating carrot cakes or roasting. Eaten raw or briefly cooked, carrots are an excellent source of vitamin A.

Easy to grow, and fully hardy. For best results, plant in well drained soil in full sun, keep the soil moist at all times as carrots do not like dry soil. Suitable to grow in containers, pots or straight into the ground.
