Jorinda is a beautiful handmade pink tourmaline ring from Alison Moore Design's Storybook collection, the birthstone of October.
Inspired by Alison’s love of literature, the Storybook collection reflects the tactile quality of leather bound books from her childhood. The band has been delicately textured and finished with a gorgeous flowing edge. The overall effect is elegant and timeless.
This ring features a stunning teardrop shaped faceted pink tourmaline gemstone, the birthstone of the month of October. The pink stone is encased in a solid 9ct gold setting which contrasts beautifully with the sterling silver band.
Each mixed metal ring is handmade to order in the Orkney island studio of Alison Moore, and no two rings are the same. You can be sure you’re receiving a truly unique piece of jewellery, whether you’re purchasing for yourself or a loved one.
Made in our island workshop on Orkney, off the north coast of Scotland. Each order arrives beautifully packaged, with information about where the piece was crafted and how to care for your jewellery.
We're doing all we can to cut single use plastics and to reduce waste in our packaging. Orders are sent in branded navy recyclable cardboard boxes with organic cotton pouches. The pouches can be kept and are a great way to store your jewellery long term.
Each ring is made to order, so please ensure you are confident in your sizing. You can have your size measured by a local jeweller, or order my ring sizer for a small fee. Alternatively, use an existing ring and this guide (although please note that this is not an entirely accurate method):
