Flumens (n) - a river or stream, the habitat of many species of freshwater fish.
This print is the first in a series inspired by creatures that can be found a little closer to home, celebrating our native UK species. Flumens features a variety of fish found in our waterways, rivers, lakes and streams, from the large and intimidating pike to the smallest stickleback. Each fish has been hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto 150gsm recycled paper using eco-friendly inks.
For a vintage book plate feel, the species of each fish has been noted underneath in calligraphy. The perfect addition to an art collection or gallery wall, or great for adding a striking focus to a room on its own. This art print is packaged with a thick cardboard backing board hand-stamped with the Also the Bison logo in a clear compostable plastic pocket.
