Psittacidae (n) - one of the three families of true parrots

This print takes inspiration from antiquarian taxidermy bird collections, now on display in museums, that included everything from Hyacinth Macaws from the Amazon to African Grey Parrots. Each parrot has been hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto a luxurious lightweight silk satin and finished with a subtle pin hem.
