The front and back cover is a sheet of 230gsm archival paper printed with archival ink. The printed sheet is dry mounted to a sheet of blue board 135gsm.There is a rigid semi frosted plastic protective cover on the front and back of the book, to protect from spillages and sticky fingers.

The internal pages are archival and acid free card either in plain white, white lined or plain black. 280gsm

A good quality, fast drying (so they are less likely to smudge) gel style pen is good to use. On the black pages i like white, but silver/gold/or a bright pastel colour works well.Edding, pilot, jelly roll or sharpie are all good makes, however if you would like something really bright white or vivid colour then posca pens are great on black.
