Annaloom combines values of preserving tradition with contemporary design and ethical integrity.

Annaloom founder, Anna-Louise Meynell works as a weave consultant for a variety of handloom organisations in India, Laos and Cambodia, with a focus on sustainable development. Parallel to working as a consultant, she commissions ethically run weave co-operatives to produce exquisite handmade textiles for the annaloom collection. The ethos of the brand is to promote and support the hand weaving tradition in rural communities, bringing the unique annaloom aesthetic to a mutually beneficial collaboration.

Working with traditional techniques, and edited for a global market, the winter 14/15 collection features handwoven blankets, shawls and scarves in a range of silks, wool and cotton.
