The planner explains the 'BRAVE' steps which are activities based around positive affirmations, self care and visualisation which have all been proven to help develop a positive mindset.
BRAVE stands for:-
-Breathing/Meditation
-Relaxation
-Affirmations
-Visualisation
-Exercise
It is recommended for children age 6-12. With adult support younger children will still benefit greatly from using the planner.
Throughout the planner, children learn about how powerful the mind is and how they can use it to develop resilience, confidence, gratitude, kindness and self-love.
The purpose of the planner is to:-
- teach strategies to help children develop their own 'secret powers'
- promote healthy habits
- encourage daily reflection
- instill self belief and confidence
- develop gratitude
The easy to do activities only require a few minutes each day and will help children develop habits that will stay with them during childhood and beyond.
