Featuring your choice of either beautiful amethyst stalactites or stunning gemstone geodes, which have been matched into pairs and topped with gold plating. Hanging above is a little cluster of dainty gemstones including faceted spinel and genuine black diamonds. Hung on gorgeous, sleek, 24K gold vermeil or sterling silver ear wires handmade by the reknowned silver artisans in Bali.

Amethyst stalactites are formed over many hundreds of thousands of years deep inside the Earth. The characteristic patterns and markings are formed as water and mineral deposits drip through and leave their mark. Incredible! Each one is totally unique in it's formation, like a natural crystal snowflake - a sparkling little treasure and a unique piece of natural history!
Variations
Geodes are natural rocks that are plain and uninteresting looking on the outside but can have beautiful crystals on the inside. They are created in hollow areas of soil such as animal burrows or tree roots, or even in the bubbles in volcanic rock. Over time, minerals seep into the hollow area and harden into an outer shell creating the geode. The minerals then continue to form on the inside walls of the shell, growing towards the centre, creating the unique crystal formations and patterns. It can take hundreds of millions of years for the space inside a geode to be filled, and many geodes remain partly hollow.
Each pair is original as each stone is unique and individual, which makes these earrings even more special and precious. All pairs are beautiful as I handpicked every pair for similarity - but please expect some slight differences in size, shape and pattern to the earrings featured in the photographs.
Amethyst is the birthstone for February, and diamonds are the birthstone for April. The diamond is said to bring love and clarity into all partnerships and bonding relationships, making these beautiful earrings the perfect token of your love!
