These cute postcards and fridge magnets will help you eat with the seasons!
Eating seasonally is great for many reasons - you can buy locally grown produce instead of having it flown in from the other side of the globe, and it's often fresher, cheaper and more nutritious. To help you see what's in season, I've designed these handy charts as postcards and magnets, illustrated with my original kawaii fruit and vegetable characters. Pop them on your fridge or pinboard, stick them inside your recipe book or even send one to a friend.
The vegetables chart shows all UK grown produce in season each month, while the fruits chart shows both UK grown produce (in capitals) as well as imported produce (in lower case) since many fruits can't be grown here.
As a few people have asked: the names in colour highlight which fruit/veg has been illustrated for that month and it can also be used to help children learn about food.
Postcards are packaged together in a reusable paper envelope. Magnets are unpackaged to reduce waste. Magnets may have small marks on the print - this is unavoidable due to the magnetic material but most can be removed with a soft damp cloth.
Please note: These charts are for UK produce only. They may not be accurate for other countries and regions.
(prop magnets are not included)
Choose from a set of 2 postcards or a set of 2 magnets. Both are the same size. Postcards are printed on a thick silk card with a glossy finish. Magnets are printed on a thick magnetic material with a wipe-clean matte coating. I have made some small updates to the illustrations on the magnets, but the text is the same. The postcards will change to match on the next restock.
