Description
Featuring handwoven diamond pattern and cotton ties, the NISCHIT cotton cushion cover adds peaceful muted colour and texture to your home. Recycled inners coming soon.
Handmade by artisans within a World Fair Trade Organization certified collective in Kathmandu, Nepal. These products are hand stitched in the WFTO member workshop which employs over 25 women, giving them opportunities through work. The workshop employs several deaf women who communicate with the production manager using sign language. AURA QUE products are individually handcrafted and the unique story behind each AURA QUE product enhances its charm!

All efforts are made to present products accurately, but lighting, background and models impact perception of colours and sizes. We are happy to provide tailored answers to queries prior to purchase, to ensure this product is right for your needs and to minimise the chances of a return.
Made from
The multitonal cotton fabric is handwoven using several different coloured strands to produce the colour and texture effect. The subtle two tone effect means these fabrics look slightly different in different lights - and can disguise a bit of the rough and tumble of everyday use! Nepal has a very waste-conscious culture, and this product brings to life small quantities of surplus fabrics that might in some societies be discarded. The soft woven cottons used to line many AURA QUE products are called kora and shyama in Nepal.
Care instructions: Machine washable on cool. Do not tumble dry. Separate dark colours.
