In creating pieces of jewellery that are intended to last more than a lifetime and coming from Sheffield, the city where stainless steel was discovered, there was only one choice for our CABLE series of bracelets.
Our bracelet is assembled from the highest quality marine grade 316 stainless steel cable, 4mm in diameter with a 7x19 construction.
Not all stainless steels are created equal. As well as being hypoallergenic, marine grade 316 stainless steel is also manufactured in a fully austenitic condition to give maximum corrosion resistance and durability.
All Bailey of Sheffield stainless steel jewellery is made from one group of alloys known as 316 marine grade steel, sometimes referred to as surgical steel. This alloy contains little carbon, relatively high chromium levels, and a small amount of nickel.
Surgical stainless steel has a low nickel percentage and can tolerate a low-oxygen environment. Its hardness means its surface will not readily scratch and create a home for pathogens, and the alloy will not tarnish or stain the surrounding skin.

LARGE Bracelet size 21cm - 22cm
EXTRA LARGE Bracelet size 22 - 23cm
To choose the appropriate size take a length of string or a strip of paper. Place around your wrist and mark the two points where it crosses. Lay the string or paper against a ruler. This measurement is the circumference of your wrist, which you need to record in centimetres.
When selecting the size of your bracelet please give consideration to any beads you may choose to wear with your bracelet.
