Switching to reusable pads can have a significant positive impact on the environment and your pocket. On average, you can use between 12,000 to 16,000 disposable menstrual products (amounting to a staggering £18,000) during your lifetime. Some disposable products contain as much as a plastic bag worth of plastic, taking hundreds of years to break down in landfill.
To use: The white toweling goes against your skin, and the coloured side against your underwear, snapping closed with the adjustable poppers. Each reusable pad is made from soft bamboo terry with a PUL backing to ensure there are no leaks, and a super absorbent microfibre core. Also suitable for use as reusable incontinence pads.
Once used, simply rinse them through with cold water, pop them in your washing machine as usual and air dry - then they're good to go again! Full use and care instructions are included with your pads.
