Tasting Notes
Chimay Gold 330ml (4.8% ABV): Mild and light in taste, with floral aromas and a slight hint of smoked malt and a touch of bitter.
Orval 330ml (6.2% ABV): The distinctive fruity and bitter taste of Orval beer means it has become a genuine reference in the exclusive world of authentic Trappist beers. Orval beer is a high fermentation beer. The ageing process adds a fruity note, which strikes a subtle balance between the beer’s full-bodied yet complex flavour and bitterness.
Trappistest Rochfort 6 330ml (7.5% ABV): Rochefort 6 is a deep amber beer that pours with a dense creamy head. It's got bags of spicy, malty and dried fruit aromas and spicy, fruity and yeasty flavours which lead to a dryish and refreshing finish.
St Feuillien Blonde 330ml (7.5% ABV): A surprisingly light and refreshing feel, with a classic Belgian ale sweetness, all finished off with a slight hoppy bitterness.
Westmalle Dubbel 330ml (7% ABV): The flavour is rich and complex, spicy and fruity with a bitter-fresh finish.
St. Bernardus Pater 6 330ml (6.7% ABV): A traditional abbey style dubbel, chestnut in colour, very fruity with notes of melon and very fresh banana, finishing with slight bitterness.
Leffe Blonde 330ml (6% ABV): The strong malty aroma of Leffe Blonde reveals a sweet bitterness in perfect harmony with notes of vanilla and clove.
Grimbergen Dubbell 330ml (6.5% ABV): Grimbergen Dubbel is a delectable blonde ale with sprightly fruitiness, soft malting and a slightly dry, gently-hopped finish. A sparkling nose, complex flavours and a touch of bitterness give this fine ale all of the refreshing quantities of a classic Belgian blonde.
