Inside the kit, you will find everything you need to make your DIY felt hedgehog. The entire product has been designed and hand made by us here in our studio in Hertfordshire, England. We have sourced a selection of high-quality, cruelty-free wool fibres, which felt together beautifully. A combination of super fine merino and English top roving – the fluffy part of the fleece. There is also a special 40-gauge felting needle inside the kit. We have carefully designed this pattern so that it's super easy to master!
You will need:
There’s no fancy equipment required for this hobby. All you need is a cosy place to sit and a soft surface to work on. A large sponge is perfect. Failing that, a piece of foam or a folded scarf will do. This is important because it will protect your needle from breaking and allow you to create flat-felted pieces.
A little note:
Your needle-felting needle is very sharp and brittle so it’s a good idea to store it in a pin cushion or back in the kit box. Please keep it out of the reach of children.
This is not a toy. Anyone under the age of 14 should be supervised by an adult.
