We use these colours throughout our range of needle-felting kits and so this makes a great add-on to your collection if you have enjoyed one of our projects and want to make more of the same. This wool can be blended together using carding brushes or even by tearing and rubbing it together in your hands to make your own unique blends.
Inside the box:
Carefully packaged inside the pretty display box, you will find over 70g of natural wool fibres (8g of each colour minimum): lightning white, candyfloss pink, eggshell, mink, chocolate brown, black, Herdwick grey and cream English top; THREE specialist 38-40-gauge felting needles - triangular, twisted, and star tipped; and a needle-felting basics guide to help you get started. So, if you’re a beginner and just want to have a play, you can begin making shapes and simple forms straight away.
You will need:
Lots of imagination and a soft surface to work on. A felting mat is a good investment. Otherwise you can use a small cushion or a bath sponge.
This is not a toy. Anyone under the age of 14 should be supervised by an adult.
