We wanted to design the most beautiful and most Instagramable advent calendar ever and I think we have succeeded! This Nordic style advent calendar is the perfect addition to your Scandi themed Christmas and is brilliant for adults and children alike.
Each white Kraft paper shape is individually cut and stitched with an opening left for you to add your Advent treats. All the shapes are numbered from 1-25, with the last number (25) on Santa himself.
Strung together across a window or a mantle, these beautiful hanging paper parcels look simply stunning.
Or you could hang each shape on your Christmas tree for a lovely additional tree decoration.
The inky blue detail on the shapes is taken from my original watercolour painting of the night sky, invoking the sense of the northern lights.It stands out beautiful against the crisp white of the Kraft paper that has been sewn with white cotton. Each individual shape is both delicate yet robust and will happily survive more than one Christmas with a little care given to use and storage.
All that is left for you to do is think about what gifts you might pop inside each shape. A small chocolate maybe, a good wish for the day or a silly Christmas joke? For children maybe tiny Lego figures or small rubbers and paperclip packs for the stationery obsessed!
