A genuine vintage Pull Down Biology School Chart, depicting the various forms of sponges in stunning detail and shades of grey and yellow.
This rare chart was printed in the early 1900's and was made by Dr. Paul Pfurtscheller (1855-1927). These charts are extremely difficult to find and especially in this condition. The chart is huge and depicts sponges in gorgeous vibrant colours and graphics with a beautiful vintage font. Viennese teacher Dr. Paul Pfurtscheller did many large-scale illustrations of organisms. Originally, they were just for the benefit of his own students – but they caught on.There is a label on the chart that confirms it was made by Dr. Paul Pfurtscheller and his autograph (printed) is on the chart. Produced in the The Hague in the Netherlands it was sold by a Belgium printers and was used for decades in a Dutch Belgium school.Condition: please have a look at the photos, there is some watermarking and some minor tears, as expected with a vintage chart.
