Brave Lotus

Born of bravery, Brave Lotus was established in 2015 by Gemma Mikayla, a trained jeweller and self-confessed adornment obsessive. After a successful ten-year career designing jewellery for big brands, she dreamt of founding her own, free-thinking label, encapsulating her love of travel and adornment in Eastern and Western culture. The risk was daunting, but in the pursuit of happiness, she faced her fears and took the leap.

Brave Lotus is the result.

Encapsulating the timeless trend for the talisman, the brand values speak of a deep appreciation for individuality and self confidence. With a transeasonal aesthetic, the collection carefully combines fine quality metals with semi-precious stones in a chic palette of sultry greys and irridescent blues, from bold pendant necklaces to whimsical earrings all hand-crafted in the UK.

Each piece is a carefully considered composition, designed to encourage the wearer to “be brave”, a value which founder and designer Gemma Mikayla wanted to be present throughout every facet of the brand.
