Our aim is to create beautifully inspiring pieces that bring fun, colour and celebration to everyday life.

My name is Louise and I’m the person behind Catkin; founder, creator, maker and everything in-between.

It’s just me in my studio in Glasgow making arrangements, gifts & wedding flowers with both fresh & dried flowers. It’s my dream job & if you told my teenage self this is what I would do for a living I wouldn’t believed it! Thanks you for following and commenting and supporting my work! ??

Catkin was founded in late 2019 after I studied floristry in Glasgow. Combined with other schooling in art, visual design & other media’s. I’ve always been a maker & love working with my hands.

Louises’ nostalgic connection with flowers is the power that drives her contemporary and dynamic creative practice. She sources unusual seasonal flowers, known for her saturated vision and striking floral designs. Her work exists between floristry, sculpture and installation art.
