A gorgeous keyring loop, handmade from Harris tweed fabric with a cedar wood panel to capture your favourite coordinates to any place in the world.
Everyone has a favourite place, maybe far away, maybe closer to home. Why not capture the coordinates of your most treasured location in our coordinates keyring?
Harris Tweed is a tweed cloth that is handwoven by islanders in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, made from pure virgin wool, dyed and spun on location. How's that for a cottage industry!
The keyring loops themselves are made for us by the lovely Tracy. To which we add our lightly scented cedar wood tags to hold your own personal message.
To find the coordinates for your favourite location you'll need to open Google maps. When you have found your desired area on the map, right click on the road, landmark, or other spot on your map and a window will pop up. Click on "what's here?".
Another window will pop open at the bottom of the page showing you a name for the area you have just clicked on and a series of numbers will appear below that. If you click on those numbers (they should be highlighted in blue!) then a panel to the left of your page will open up. The largest numbers on the left will be the international coordinates for that place and should look something like this:
53°30'56.7"N 2°25'13.7"W
Then just copy and paste that into your order form for your keyring.
