Individually handmade recycled metal mesh Cockerel made in Zimbabwe.

The devil is in the detail on this beautifully made mesh Cockerel. Recycled metal mesh has been used to create his breast, with the shape of the mesh giving the feeling of plumage. A red painted comb and wattle and impressive tail feathers finish him off perfectly. Find a spot for him in the garden and he will cast lovely shadows when the sun shines on his distinctive shape.

Recycled metal and mesh is used for the main body of the sculpture, with painted details.

Like all metal exposed to the elements they will need occasional maintenance. For a protective sheen apply a good coat of clear yacht varnish or clear lacquer once a year.
