This hand decorated blue and white earthenware plate is made with ceramic crayons - giving it a very unusual bobbly texture. It is a one-off, one of a kind rectangular ceramic tray plate. Buy it direct from the artist as a self-treat or gift for a friend.

The white of the plate uses the natural colour of the clay. The blue sky areas are raised and textured by ceramic crayons. The plate is clear glossed and kiln-fired. (Note: this decorative plate is not for food-use due to its texture.)

The birds motifs are hand drawn, representing flight and freedom.
