Use this medium height vase for garden cuttings or wild flower walk pickings. Or put it in your kitchen and use it for wooden spoons, ladles and spatulas - all the tall things that usually fall over in mugs. This pot is wide enough to fit 6-7 utensils, sturdy and topple-free.

The deep blue is hand painted with underglaze. The white is the natural colour of the clay. The geometric triangle and circle design was made by scratching into the underglaze - a method called sgraffito. The vase / utensil pot was then hand painted clear gloss glaze to make it fully waterproof.
