Highly unusual nightscene art print of twelve moths, printed in white and gold ink, flying above a river current.
This rare Japanese art print truly makes your eyes ping. It's an abstract feast for the eyes. The curves of the river current, printed in green, black and tan project a lot of movement, which has quite a kooky / magic-eye type effect on the viewer. It would be a nice gift for someone with eclectic taste, with a liking for Japanese design.
The artwork is roughly a5 in size and looks particularly good from across a room. The art print was reprinted in Japan in the 1960s. The artwork was originally printed in the early 1900s.
Choose to have this art print arrive in three ways, as is, simply a piece of paper; mounted (sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 " / 25.4 x 20.3 cms frame) or framed. The black and gold frame pictured is made from responsibly sourced timber with real glass from Dunhelm.
Advice for hanging: original artwork should not be hung above radiators / heat sources, nor in damp or steamy rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms or conservatories.
