Peach-pink, dusky blue, white and gold Japanese woodblock print with an exquisite finely printed abstract pattern of leaves and blossom.
This is a rare Japanese art print that would give a room a warm, feminine look. If you look at this artwork closely, you see a fine white grid pattern, printed on top of swirls of gold leaves and gradated / softly printed petals.
This picture would look nice on a bedroom wall and if you placed it near your bed, it is quite comforting and soft to look at, like a picture-blanket. The print would also look nice in an alcove, stairway, hall or landing, somewhere you can look at it closely - the artwork is roughly a5 in size.
The art print was reprinted in Japan in the 1960s, originally printed in the early 1900s. It would bring someone joy to look at and would make a lovely piece of art to give as a gift.
Choose to have this art print arrive in three ways, as is, simply a piece of paper; mounted (sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 " / 25.4 x 20.3 cms frame) or framed. The black and gold frame pictured is made from responsibly sourced timber with real glass from Dunhelm.
Advice for hanging: original artwork should not be hung above radiators / heat sources, nor in damp or steamy rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms or conservatories.
