You can also add floor defenders to your bench to help protect your floor and the legs from scratches or marking. The floor defender is a small disk welded to the tip of each leg to which is bonded some high density felt. They are very discreet and very sturdy. Hairpin legs can concentrate a great deal of weight onto a very small point so we would say they are an absoloute must if you have any kind of hard flooring.
