A memory jar is a fun, accessible and easy way to not let any of those family memories pass you by. All the family can get involved, and the best is when one of the family secretly writes a memory and quielty slips it into the jar.....only to be discovered years later, making it an ideal gift for birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, new parents, new baby or christening gifts
The jar comes in two sizes, small and large, and is finished with a cork lid. The small jar is made up of 50 scrolls of paper individually tied with twine. 20 of the scrolls can be personalised with 20 of your existing memories and are tied in one colour twine and 30 scrolls are blanks, to be filled with your memories to come. The 30 blanks are tied in a contrasting twine, making it easy to diistinguish between the two memories. Once the memory is 'made' the twine can be changed to the existing memory colour. Each jar comes with a small bottle of twine in the relevant colour. The large jar is made up of 70 scrolls, 20 existing memories and 50 memories to come. Alternativly if you have more existing memories, we can print these and add the balance of blank scrolls.
The colour of twine can also be choosen depending on the recipient, family or occaision. There is a black/grey combination, a light pink/hot pink and a teal/navy blue combination to choose from.
Finally the jar can be further personalised with a fabric gift tag, hand stamped to read the family name or individual names, and the back of the tag to read 'Our family memories since...(Year)'
