We make this locket by hand, from 9ct gold, the gold is tested for purity at Birmingham's Assay Office, the mark of recognition is applied using punches, by hand, to the locket and all this is to ensure it is recognised as being 9ct gold, that is to say for every 1000 parts, 375 parts are pure gold.
