Semi precious gemstones, freshwater pearl, sterling silver charm
The Sterling silver we use in our charm disc is a precious metal comprised of 92.5% pure silver. The charm disc described as ‘gold plate silver' is sterling silver with an 18K gold plate, to a thickness of 2 microns. As our charm’s weight is 2 grams, the hallmarking of the silver and gold plated silver is not obligatory. However, we guarantee to our customers that we use the purest sterling silver for our product.
Since many natural gemstones can be quite delicate, hot water, harsh chemicals and cleaners should be avoided at all times. We recommend that you avoid spraying perfume or hairspray directly onto the stones. Also, wait until body cream or perfume has dried completely before putting on your bracelet. If colour transfer does occur simply wipe your jewellery with a damp soft cloth and leave to dry naturally. As with our gemstones, avoid direct contact of the sterling silver charm with perfumes & creams. Do not use a chemical cleaner, instead use a dry, lint free cloth or silver polishing cloth to gently clean the surface of the metal. Do not clean using tissue paper or scratchy materials, this can mark the surface of the metal. Elastic string may also become loose over-time, so take extra care of the choking hazard if the string has broken, especially if you have children around.
