English Merry Widow veiling has a wider open weave than the fine French netting I use for some of my other birdcage veils so it's more of a statement veil than its more delicate counterparts. Merry Widow veiling is a little stiffer than French netting, giving the veil a more structured and voluminous shape than birdcage veiling.
