ONE ceramic kiln reed diffuser.
These gorgeous pots are inspired by the traditional bottle kilns used for firing ceramics in the Potteries until the 1960s.
Each reed diffuser is thrown on the potter's wheel by Mathew Dimbleby in his Stoke on Trent studio. They are then biscuit fired before being individually glazed with layers of green and pewter. In the second firing, the glazes merge with each other, creating a gorgeous, glossy surface. It is impossible to replicate the process, so each bottle kiln is totally unique.
Please use the photos as a guide as to what your diffuser will look like.
