Sample the delights of the potter's wheel under the expert guidence of professional studio potters
Making a pot on the potters wheel is one of those 'always wanted to do' activities. This fun 90 minute session offers the opportunity to do just that! Perfect for couples and groups wanting to get creative with clay. Create a bowl or vase under the expert guidence of celebrated studio potters Sarah Monk and Jon Williams. Recycle your efforts or select one fabulous pot to take away on the day to paint at home. Alternatively you can pay to have it fired and glazed at the Pottery. The cost for this is £20 per pot.

Directions:
The small Herefordshire village of Eastnor is located 2 miles east of Ledbury on the A438 Ledbury - Tewkesbury Road. NB If you are traveling via the M50, set the satnav to journey via Ledbury to avoid narrow, winding lanes and a ford.
Free parking:
Please do not park in the lane as there are plenty of spaces in the Pottery Carpark in-front of the studio.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Sessions take place on specific days most weeks of the year.
We're currently limiting the group to x14 ppl per session.
Minimum age14yrs.
Please allow 1.5hrs for your visit. On arrival you'll be offered a warm welcome and shown to your potter's wheel. You'll be sharing one wheel between two. Following a step by step demonstration - each potter has two turns to attempt to make a pot. (We encourage participants to swap between goes as it's a great spectator sport and we think you learn loads by watching your potting partner make their pot.)
At the end of the session you may...or may not ;) have two pots to show for you efforts. You’ll be offered one of three choices: 1) The ‘green’ option. We’ll recycle all your attempts so your clay can be enjoyed again and again by our lovely customers. 2) Select your favourite pot to take away, air-dry and paint at home. 3) For an additional £20 per pot we’ll fire and glaze your creation.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:
Please wear appropriate clothing and foot wear you don't mind getting a few clay splats on.
Please bring your own apron and an old hand towel/tea towel. The clay doesn't stain and washes out easily so wearing old clothes is perfectly acceptable too, but please don't forget the towel! Alternatively, you can hire an apron and towel bundle from us at £5 per person. (Couples are welcome to share a bundle between them)

- EASTNOR POTTERY TERMS & CONDITIONS:
A 10% handling fee will be applied to any future changes you need to make to your booking - Including re-scheduling and refunds.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances and you need to cancel *within 28 days of your experience, we’ll re-advertise your slot and if successfully filled, we’ll rearrange your booking (subject to availability and receipt of 10% handling fee.) Alternatively, we are happy for another family member or friend to attend in your place.
*NB if you cancel, for whatever reason, within 48 hours of your experience or fail to attend, your booking is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be re-scheduled.
If we have to cancel a workshop, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund. We cannot accept liability for travel, accommodation or other costs.
