Family names print in a personalised crossword design that has a simple, clear appearance. Every family is unique, and so is every family crossword - it's a beautiful way to celebrate family and it's a brilliant family gift. Great as a grandparents gift too (for example, you could put all the grandchildren's names on the print). A thoughtful gift for Christmas.
Each letter of every name is printed on an image of a wooden tile, like a scrabble tile - check out the gallery to see the close up detail. To be clear: these are NOT real wooden tiles, they are pictures.
Framing is not included in the price but is available to purchase via the drop down menu.
VARIATIONS AND PERSONALISATION
- personalised with family names (between 4 and 10 names)
- optional title (e.g. family surname, date)
We'll design the crossword from the names and position your title depending on the shape of the crossword. See our gallery of images for examples.
We remove spaces and punctuation for the crossword (so EMMA JANE appears as EMMAJANE). Each name can have up to 10 letters. We print the names exactly as you send them so please double-check spellings! If you send the same name twice, we'll include them both - please take care not to send us duplicates by mistake!
It's the nature of crosswords that the words only fit together in a limited number of ways so unfortunately we can't put words in any particular order - we'll position them where they look best in the design.
In the unlikely event that it's not possible to make a crossword from your list of names, we'll contact you. This happens, for example, when one name has no letters in common with the other names, or when lots of the names are very short. We can usually add another word (e.g. LOVE or FAMILY) to fix this but we'll contact you before deciding what to do next.
