A personalised family names print showing all the family members interconnected together on one print. You send us the names and we design the crossword.
You could include other family information on your crossword if you want - names, nicknames, important places, pets names...anything that's special or meaningful to you and your family. Don't be afraid to get creative! You could even get family members involved in coming up with ideas for what to include on your print!
This personalised family print is a wonderful personalised family gift for grandparents and a great gift for mum or dad.
Variations
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
You send 12 to 16 items for your crossword. Each item is one word or a short combination of words.
We print each item in capital letters without spaces (so Granny Emily appears as GRANNYEMILY). We remove punctuation like commas and apostrophes from the names (they break up the design too much).
Please double-check name spellings!
If you send the same name twice, we'll include them both - please take care not to send us duplicates by mistake!
It's the nature of crosswords that the words only fit together in a limited number of ways so unfortunately we can't put words in any particular order - we'll position them where they look best in the design.
- optionally highlight one of your crossword items (your family name, for example). We print this word in larger letters.
- colour schemes, each consisting of a palette of complimentary colours: blue, purple, grey, red and green.
- styles - classic, contemporary and nostalgia.
PROOF - if you want a proof of your crossword before we print it, please request one after ordering (make an enquiry on your order). If you request a proof, delivery time may be delayed as we'll need to wait for your approval before printing. Thanks!

UNFRAMED PRINTS
- printed with high quality inks for excellent fade resistance and color reproduction
- available on matte paper or a preimum heavyweight fine art paper
- available in standard sizes so they will fit into standard size picture frames that are widely available, both online and in the shops
CANVAS PRINTS
- ready to hang, canvas prints are wrapped and stretched on an 18mm pine box frame (frame not visible from the front of the print). There's a close-up picture of the rearside of the canvas prints in the image gallery.
FRAMED PRINTS
- 25mm smooth matte black frames with styrene (which won't break in transit!) and MDF backing board. Frames are manufactured in the UK from high-quality solid wood and come complete with hanging fixings.
- frames are great for convenience (they're ready to hang) or if you want to send a gift direct to the recipient, but you'll find more choice (of prices, styles and colours) if you buy your own frame locally
