Inspired by a never ending passion to always be a little different, we work really hard to create candles which truly ignite our customers' curiosity.

Esscentualcandles began when a young Aidan Paterson entered the world of candle making after becoming fascinated by the hundreds of candles bought by his mother and grandparents.

Fast-forward 9 years and our business has gone from strength to strength!

Having identified the majority of candle brands focus on packaging OR fragrance, we highlight the need to pay an equal amount of attention to both of these facets. That's why our stunning range of candles are available in a variety of original fragrances, each with their own imaginative artwork packaging.

Quality is a very important feature for us, our candles undergo rigorous testing to ensure a superior burn performance and are made using a high quality wax blend.

All our candles and fragrances are designed in the beautiful surroundings of the Scottish Borders and hand-poured with great care in Cumbria making us a truly British company.
