London has some of the most striking pieces of Art Deco architecture. And the magnificent Art Deco Facade of the East Stand is one.

I first came across this beautiful structure, just by chance while biking to Finsbury Park.The East Stand, containing the famous Marble Halls, is a Grade II listed building. Built in 1936 to compliment the Victorian houses in the surrounding area, it was constructed in the Art Deco style of architecture which was popular between the wars.

The local Tube station was renamed from Gillespie Road to Arsenal. This is currently a block of flats.
