Pigeon Screen Print On Vintage Book Page

A cheeky racing pigeon screen printed on vintage book paper

The paper is lovely and creamy with age and the book page is from Harold Blunt's Tackle Pigeon Racing this way, first printed in 1961. There are a few blemishes on the paper from the age of the book, but they add to the character of the print.

This clever little pigeon can find his way home from anywhere even without a map, he doesn't even need to ask for directions! Pigeon racing is a very Yorkshire pastime, this would make a great gift for Father's Day for a Yorkshire dad or for anyone who loves traditional pastimes.
